If you’re a grower, you can test in the field as often as you like. If you’re a cannabis products producer, you can check every batch of product at every step of the process — no need to spend time and money sending samples to a lab. Accuracy details >
Ekidna is manufactured almost entirely in Ontario, Canada. LD Tool and Die and Microart, our manufacturing partners, have reliably sourced all required parts and materials for both test kits and readers. Accuracy details >
The Ekidna test kit consists of a 2” x 2” x 5” electronic USB reader, a single-use
test kit with cap, and an app that runs on any Windows computer.
Coming later in 2022, Ekidna will have the capability to test liquid samples. That process will be just as easy, involving
a syringe that you use to collect the sample. Once you inject the sample into the test tube, the process will be identical.
1. While Ekidna is highly accurate in detecting cannabinoids, it does not detect other materials, and therefore can’t be
used to verify product safety for human consumption, and it is not a replacement for Health Canada mandated tests.
